“We’re on a journey. Mundane and life changing. Straight and winding. On small and large journeys of life.”

The state-owned company VR, familiar to all Finns, needed to make its brand image more people-friendly and approachable. “Olemme Matkalla” (We’re on a journey), a brand concept designed by Vapamedia, turns the perspective from train journeys to journeys of life and underlines VR’s role as an enabler of these journeys.

VR takes you from one station to another, but at the same time is part of something bigger – meaningful journeys for individuals, companies and the whole of society. Photographer Ossi Piispanen created these visuals to relay that message.
