Shape of Respect ring by designer Kalle Hakola was among the finalists in The Most Beautiful Ring Of The Year 2020 -competition. The images reflect the brutalist architecture and design inspired brand and bring the shapes of the ring to light.

The name of the ring comes from the initial design process. Kalle interviewed people and asked them what they respect in either their friend, coworker or for example their spouse. He then took the recordings and used the shapes of the oscillograms to make the organic facade of the ring.

The oscillograms used in shaping the ring are hidden in the cross-sections. They’re visible when looking the ring from the side.
